We’ve reached the final day of Royal Ascot 2021 but still have some great action ahead of us including one of the sprint races of the season, The Diamond Jubilee Stakes. We preview this and all the other races from the final day of the Royal meeting.

Race 1: Chesham Stakes (Listed Race)

A field full of potential and its Point Lonsdale who has the best form in the book. He’s only had the one start but won very well at the Curragh and represents top connections.

New Science would also be one that is expected to go close after making all to win at Yarmouth. He beat Reach The Moon and it would be a surprise to see the latter get ahead in this.

Race 2: Jersey Stakes (Group 3)

Will we see a Royal winner this week? If so, Tactical could be the one. He won the Windsor Castle last year and would go very close if the ground starts to dry. The Queen also runs Light Refrain who loves soft ground. Any more rain will be very much in her favour.

Race 3: Hardwicke Stakes (Group 2)

A race full of Group 1 performers but not many come here in brilliant form. Broome is worth a chance having narrowly missed out on Group 1 success last time. He will handle conditions just fine and is the mount of Ryan Moore who had plenty of options.

Logician shouldn’t be discounted. A brilliant St Leger winner, he is all class but needs to put a mediocre comeback run behind him to be involved.

Race 4: Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Group 1)

Dream Of Dreams has been narrowly denied success in this race for the past 2 seasons and there could be one who will beat him this time. That should be Art Power who needed the run on his first start this year. He has Ascot form, likes the conditions and is all speed.

Race 5: Wokingham Stakes (Heritage Handicap)

Probably the toughest race of the day and its oldest horse in the line-up who gets the vote; Danzeno. Ultra-consistent, the ground is a slight worry, but he will be in tip top condition to put in a bold bid to win this at the age of 10. Chil Chil can follow him home in 2nd if he takes to the soft ground.

Race 6: Golden Gates Stakes (Handicap)

The owners of Seasett have seen the majority of their runners run well this week and they can enter the winner’s enclosure here. He is a mud lover, has a nice weight and top jockey Ben Curtis riding. It would be a surprise to see him unplaced.

Race 7: Queen Alexandra Stakes (Class 2)

The last race of the week and it’s a marathon. Stratum has been in these sorts of races all of his life and has a great weight. With Ryan Moore onboard he will go very well.

The Grand Visir is the other to look at. He will want more and more rain, runs well at Ascot and is a really strong stayer.
